Mrs. Rovzar

Hi! My name is Mrs. Rovzar (my name is a tricky one it is pronounced Rouser, I always tell people it rhymes with trouser) and I am so excited to be your child’s first grade teacher. I am looking forward to teaching your child and watching them learn and grow this school year!

I am originally from Annapolis, Maryland. I moved to Orange County when I was in middle school and grew up not far from Irvine in Coto de Caza. I went to the University of the Colorado in Boulder (go Buffs!) where I received my Bachelor of Science in psychology. After graduating from the University of Colorado, I attended UCI to complete my teaching credential program. I love teaching early literacy and earned my Master’s in Literacy last December. My teaching experiences have been within both private and public schools. I have been at Beacon Park since it opened in 2016. I have taught Kindergarten for the past three years and am excited to be joining the first grade team this year! Beacon Park is a wonderful community and I am so fortunate to teach here.

I live in the Newport Beach area with my husband, Andy, and our golden retriever, Ralphie. When I am not teaching I love to read, run, go on walks, spend time with my family, go to the beach, snowboard, and coach lacrosse. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
